As of 2013, the SCFCU has grown to represent 46 cooperatives and 80,000 farmers making the SCFCU the second largest coffee producing cooperative union in Ethiopia. The Organic Ethiopian Washed Sidamo SHOYE FAIR TRADE is sourced from family-owned farms organized around the Shoye Cooperative located within the Dale district. It is comprised of indigenous heirloom cultivars and exhibits notes of lemongrass and black tea.
